A rig is a stop-motion equipment used to hold things in air. It’s a sturdy articulating arm that helps to achieve precise movements while animating. All parts are precisely designed and fabricated / cut using CNC machines. The screws on the joints help manage and adjust the pressure on joints of the arm, the tighter the screw, the more weight it carries. If the screw is loose, the animation will be more fluid. Rigs can help in achieving different arrays of movements, for example: - walking, running, jumping, flying an object in air and many more.
